It is pretty rare (nowadays especially) for me to say anything online that is serious, a majority of the journals that I make here are usually something joking or stupid. This is not one of those journals, unfortunately.
I am going to bring up something that is very hard for anybody to cope with, and that is, the loss of somebody. Many of you have at least once received some news about somebody on the internet passing away, and of course you send your condolences or prayers, but it doesn't really move you until it's somebody that you actually knew and were friends with.
When I joined Fur Affinity, I met a guy, I don't remember exactly how we met, but we realized that we had a lot in common, which ultimately led us to become friends. But as I became less and less active on there, we talked less.
Earlier, I decided to log into FA for the first time in a while, only, upon seeing his page, to discover that he is no longer with us.
It's something that really hurts for you to find out, and knowing that their death was accidental, that it could have been prevented, hurts even worse. (I'm not AT ALL saying that expected deaths aren't heartbreaking, it's just that when it happens unexpectedly, you have zero emotional preparation for it, so you're just left in very crushing denial).
This will take a long while to get over, I wish I could have found out earlier.
